Build a Gun Army Beginner Guide — Core Loop and Fast Start
Build a Gun Army is an idle incremental simulator: your guns do the fighting, your job is the economy. Zombies march toward your base in waves, every gun you own fires automatically, and the coins they drop pay for the next gun. This guide covers the proven start, based on the game’s official description and verified gamepass data.
1. Learn the core loop
Every session follows the same beats, straight from the official description:
- Buy a gun. New guns go straight into your arsenal and start shooting on their own — no aiming, no reloading.
- Let them defend. Your guns fire automatically at each zombie wave. If a wave reaches your base, you lose income time.
- Pick up the coins. Destroyed zombies and cleared waves drop coins. You collect them by picking them up, so swing by your defense line regularly.
- Buy better guns. Spend coins on stronger guns and repeat — each new gun raises both your defense and your income per minute.
2. Treat coins as your only resource
There is no separate ammo or energy economy to juggle: coins are everything. Two habits make a big difference early:
- Never leave coins on the floor. Uncollected coins are wasted income — the Auto Loot gamepass (99 R$) automates this if you decide the manual pickup annoys you.
- Reinvest immediately. Idle games compound: coins sitting in your wallet earn nothing, but an extra gun earns coins even while you stand still.
3. Use offline defense
The headline feature: your guns keep defending while you are offline. Before you log off, make sure your arsenal is as strong as you can afford — the waves that roll in overnight are fought by whatever you left behind. Logging back in with a bigger pile of collected rewards is the core rhythm of the game.
4. Open every container
Rewards come in box-style containers, and opening them manually gets tedious fast. The Auto Open gamepass (29 R$) removes that step entirely — it is the cheapest quality-of-life upgrade in the store.
5. Which gamepass to buy first
All three passes were added on August 22, 2026 and are verified against the official Roblox product API:
| Pass | Price | Worth it? |
|---|---|---|
| Auto Open | 29 R$ | Cheapest QoL; removes all manual box opening |
| Auto Loot | 99 R$ | Great once coin piles outpace your pickup runs |
| 2x Game Speed | 399 R$ | Premium pick; doubles active-session progression |
If you buy only one, Auto Open gives the most convenience per Robux. See the gamepasses page for details on each.
6. Collect them all
The long-term goal printed in the official description: collect all the weapons. Every gun you add stays in your arsenal permanently, so progress never resets — the collection only grows. We will publish a full weapon list once the community data can be verified; no reliable weapon database exists yet, and we do not invent numbers.
